Dr Katherine Ward

Katherine graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2013 and qualified as a GP in 2019. In addition to her clinical work, she is a GP trainer and is completing a fellowship in health inequalities.  

Katherine has completed Dr Newson’s Confidence in Menopause training and the International Menopause Society IMPART course. She is passionate about empowering women to receive holistic, evidence-based care in the peri-menopause and menopause. She is motivated by the transformational effect that good care can have on women’s lives by not only improving quality of life but protecting future health. Katherine is also enthusiastic about raising awareness of good menopause care amongst other healthcare professionals including her trainees.  

Katherine lives with her husband, little boy and labradoodle Maple in Nottingham. She enjoys yoga, ice skating and good food.
