Newson Health Menopause Clinic

Welcome

Welcome to Newson Health, a centre of excellence providing evidence-based information, support and treatments for the perimenopause and menopause.

We offer personalised care and support to women navigating the menopause via our private menopause clinics in Stratford-upon-Avon, Bournemouth, Southampton, Harrogate, Manchester, Chester and London.

Newson Health: our story

The first Newson Health clinic opened its doors in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2018 in response to difficulties women face in accessing perimenopause and menopause treatment.

Over the years, we have expanded our services with more face-to-face clinics, as well as offering video appointments. Our expert clinicians provide individualised consultations, with a holistic and empathetic approach to the perimenopause and menopause.

We are incredibly proud of our menopause clinics – take a virtual tour of our Stratford-upon-Avon clinic here.

Meet the team

Our expert team

Our private menopause clinics based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Bournemouth, Southampton, Manchester, Chester, Harrogate and London are run by a team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and healthcare assistants who share a passion for providing the best possible care. Their collective expertise as menopause specialists and professionals with an interest in menopause ensure you receive personalised treatment, underpinned by shared decision making and informed consent.

Treatment and services offered

At Newson Health, we offer a range of treatments and services to meet our patients’ needs. An initial consultation with us lasts up to 45 minutes, allowing for enough time for a detailed discussion about your needs and concerns. We offer face-to-face or video appointments at a variety of our menopause clinics. Follow-up consultations last up to 25-minutes, ensuring your treatment pathway is monitored and adapted as needed. Whether it’s about starting hormones replacement therapy (HRT), adding testosterone for women to your treatment plan, or seeking advice on managing symptoms, our experts are here to guide you every step of the way. For those starting on HRT, a private prescription is provided initially. Whilst most women eventually get their HRT through their own GP on an NHS prescription, some choose to continue their private prescription with us.

If you would like more information on booking an appointment, get in touch. Our teams are here to support you.

Scheduling and referrals

As a new patient, accessing our services is straightforward. You do not need a GP or another doctor’s referral letter to be seen in our clinic: the majority of women opt to self-refer.

After an initial consultation, a follow-up is typically scheduled around three months later. Depending on your individual needs, our clinicians will advise on any subsequent follow-up appointments as an existing patient.
