There is a £37 fee charged by Newson Health for every prescription written. This charge covers the doctor creating the prescription, which is a legal document for which the doctor who has issued and signed it is responsible.
However at a follow up appointment your prescription maybe put on repeat. If this is the case you can pay a one-off charge of £70 for a duration of the repeat prescription, usually 12 months (please be aware this excludes your HRT which is a separate cost). The £70 fee is payable upfront and is non-refundable and can be for your standard prescription or any other medication prescribed during that period.
Medication is charged separately by the dispensing pharmacist, CloudRx or Smartway.
